Dinner Back to Back

Dinner back to back on weekend is just awesome!!..especially when you are dining with your family...why?..because you do not need to pay a single cent..haha..and of course you can try out a wide variety of food out there...don't you think it's just nice?..

On Saturday, my mom together with my bro, sis and myself (of course) decided to go out for dinner since not many people were not at home for dinner...so it's cheaper to dine outside if the number is less...that's for sure...

We went to Sunway which has various types of steamboats...after all, Sunway is famous for that...lol...unlike Yuen Steamboat, Tasty Pot which is just two roads away, has equally as many people as Yuen or maybe more but the main point is we do not need to wait to be served!!..

It's also a steamboat buffet type restaurant but it provides some BBQ dishes as well...the price is slightly higher than Yuen but it serves various soup based...however, the food is just almost the same and both restaurants have cooked food for those who can't wait...my opinion is to try out for yourself before judging...i would not take my stand here as both have their own strengths and weaknesses...

Meanwhile on Sunday, it's my family annual Mooncake Festival dinner...we celebrated earlier as this year's festival falls on Wednesday...we went to this new age vegetarian restaurant at Jaya One known as Kechara Oasis...this time, i ate with my family and relatives...

Out of 8 dishes if i'm not mistaken, two of them caught my taste buds attention...i'm not sure what are they called but they are very nice!!..and the price must be quite high based on the restaurant's environment...it's more to the high-class type...

So here are the two restaurants' websites: Tasty Pot | Kechara Oasis

And the map leading to Kechara Oasis:

New Hairstyle

Something extraordinary just happened on me yesterday!!..hmm, maybe i should say i had made one of the most daring moves in my life!!...i still can't believe myself had made such a move...it's a shocking moment for my family and i when i made the CHANGE....

So this daring move is about my hairstyle...after a year sticking to the same hairstyle, i finally decided and made the BOLD move to change it...actually, i had the intention to change my hairstyle few months ago but now is the time to give it a twist...

This new hairstyle i didn't ask for it but it just came out spontaneously from the hairdresser...i asked for a hairstyle that suits me and he suggested this style...he just briefly explained how it will look on my head and confirmed with me again whether i wanted it...it happened so quickly!!...i didn't even manage to give it a second thought...and i just answered "YES"!

I was not that shocked when i first looked at my new hairstyle cause i was trying to imagine myself looking with that hairstyle while he is cutting my hair...i looked completely different from myself!!..i don't really know how to describe it but it makes me look "wild"...

When i reached home, i received my first criticism from my sister and mom...maybe i'm still new to this style, so i don't know what to react nor answer them...i just wanted a change and never thought of getting into this style...even now i am trying to adjust to this new style and getting used to it...i know it takes time for me to get used...sigh...

Now i should be ready for more criticism when i return to college next Tuesday...it will become the topic of the day for them...haha...whatsoever, i am ready for it and just bring it on!...if this hairstyle doesn't suit me then i will change again on my next visit to the saloon...hope those comments won't be too harsh to accept though...lol..

ps: I didn't take any photo showing my new hairstyle but don't be disappointed cause you will see it if you ever meet me while i still having this hairstyle...haha...

Gadgets Craze

It's already 1.40 a.m...and i haven't sleep!!..well, it's alright for me to sleep late and i'm used to it...i will not hit my bed till 3 a.m....unless it's schooling days, then i will sleep a bit earlier...yeah, it's just A BIT different...haha...so right now i'm writing this post out of boredom while waiting for my phone to charge finish...

Talking about phone, i've been using the same phone for about 3 years already!!...some might take it as a long period while some take it as short...to me, i still can stand it and i'm still using it without fretting about it...err..i do fret about sometime when i see some new phones with new functionality...awh..come on, who don't fret when we see something better than what we owned...haha

I wanted to change my phone long time ago but the one problem prohibited me from doing so...even now the problem still lingers around me...argh!!...what is the problem?..it's FINANCIAL problem!!!..every time when i wana buy something new, i'm short on cash...sigh...but i will opt for more when i get something...i'll never satisfied...lol..talking bout human nature...haha

On the other hand, my friend wants to sell his DSLR camera and he offers me with a reasonable price...you know i've been craving for a DSLR camera for so long!!!...i don't mind owning a second hand as long as i get a DSLR camera...but the condition must be good though...lol...again i'm short on cash...damn!!..

You see, i'm torn apart between buying a new handphone and a second hand DSLR camera...both cost about the same and both are in my target list...not to mention a laptop which i HAVE to buy next year once i got my loan...that is for sure...haha..so it's a battle of the gadgets within myself...><..

Stay United for Independence Day!

Wee~..Tomorrow is gona be a holiday again!!..=D

And all Malaysian suppose to know what day it is!!..haha..those who can't identify it should have their citizenship revoked...lol..just kidding only..don't take it so serious...just cracking some jokes..=)

With so many racist remarks being made nowadays, i dare not make any or create any hatreds over here..haha...i will not get myself into hot water for sure!!...i've passed my legal age and legal action could be taken on me if i committed any offense...haha..better stay safe...

Even though Malaysia is celebrating its 53rd birthday this year, there are still many racist comments being thrown out from people from all races...i'm quite sadden and disappointed by the current situation though...once a person started the ball rolling, then it will keep on rolling until someone comes out and do something to stop the situation from becoming worse...and it is important to do it fast!!..

The concept of 1Malaysia has started a year ago if i'm not mistaken, but i doubt the concept has been fully accepted by all...people are talking about "1Malaysia" and yet some racists still uttered racist remarks and cause disharmony between the people...it's bad....why can't we just keep our mouths shut if what we are going to say can cause discomfort to others?..think before we talk!...it's very essential for us to tolerate in this diverse nation...

Anyway, let's celebrate the independence day with one concept that is "stay united for the sake of the nation"...Happy Independence Day!!!...

ps: If i have made any comments that caused uneasiness in you, i hereby sincerely apologise to you. I didn't mean to hurt you...peace^^v

Traditional Games

I've vowed to update this blog more frequent but i have to apologise for not able to do so...i know i'll be giving excuses here so it'll be better if i keep those excuses to myself..no point giving tonnes of excuses and no action is taken in the end...

So i've been reading this book called "The Complete Reference: Java" lately...this book is so thick to me..if not for the sake of mastering java programming language, i will not chunk this book up...because of this, i need motivation and strong determination to complete this book..if not all, at least i'll try to complete part 1 of it...merely 1 part could reach 300 pages...too much for me..

While Independence Day is just around the corner, i would like to wish Malaysia a Happy 53rd Birthday!!..=)..in conjunction with the celebration, my college, APIIT/UCTI has put various traditional games on display at the foyer...once i saw those games on display, i felt like i had travelled back time to my primary school years...some traditional games that were put on display were gasing, batu seremban, ting ting, and congkak...i used to play these games during my childhood years and i dare say they are FUN!!..they may look simple but the games are purely enjoyable...if you've tried them, you will know how much fun they generate...

i asked some of my friends whether they have played any one of them...sadly they responded "no"...i feel so sorry for them though...they must have missed their fun childhood memories...what i can conclude from their statements are those from the chinese independent schools do not play this kind of traditional games...they focus more on studies and athletic sports...hmm...i'm not saying they are not good or whatever but they should have tried their hands on traditional games...i guess it's too late to convince them to play now since they will not find the fun factor in these games anymore...the time has passed..now i feel i'm glad that i was sent to a national school and got to learn about all these games...not much regret except for the chinese language...haha

Looking at those games brought back a lot of fond memories i had while i'm playing these games...those memories are just too sweet to be forgotten...i still remember how we used to tease and laugh at each other while competing against one another...so much FUN!!!.every bit of it is priceless and can't replace with money...after all, to me money can't buy happiness and sweet memories tend to remain intact with my memory while bitter ones fade away as time passed...after talking so much about these games, my hands are tingling now...i would like to get my hands on them as soon as possible..=)

8-10 August

These few days quite a number of events had happened...and i've finally found some empty slot in my time to blog about these happenings...each event will be summarised accordingly...

Sunday, 8 August
Let's start off with Sunday when i went to the last day of PC Fair at KLCC...to be honest, this was actually my very first time attending the PC Fair!..i knew it was quite embarrassing to admit it but that was the truth!..i will just admit it without hiding..

So, the main purpose i went there was to get myself rewarded with a brand new mp3...after working for almost two months, it'll be good to motivate myself a little with some gifts...haha..so i bought this little light machine from Sony Walkman B series...i was struggling deciding whether to buy Sony or Creative Zen mp4..both price were almost the same but the sound quality were different..so after minutes of deep thought and comparison, i finally bought Sony's mp3..no regret after my decision yet..haha

People were flooding the whole place and it was like a "high-class" wet market..lol..the place was so damn packed!!..and the calling of sale could be heard from any point in the exhibition hall...quite a "spectacular" scene though..haha

Monday, 9 August
Today was the day i attended my first class in degree level 1...although the orientation started two weeks ago, i just attended two days altogether...haha..it's quite ridiculous to have orientation for two weeks!..what a waste of time!..i'm speechless in this case..sigh...

As usual, the first class of each module just required us to introduce ourselves and blah blah blah...and of course the whole module structure was explained and how we were being assessed...nothing much to say about this day..

Tuesday, 10 August
I attended a surprise birthday party which was planned days ago for YY by her boyfriend...it's not that SURPRISE actually...but maybe the birthday girl will take it as a real SURPRISE though...haha...i didn't know how she feels about it but i guessed our surprise gave her was quite successful...organised at Lookout Point (aka small Genting), the place was awesome for dinner...even though i've been there for the second time, the night view of Klang Valley still captivated me..pictures will do the talking later...

On that night, it came out that we were the first group to organise a birthday party there...after ours, there were 5 or 6 other birthday celebrations held there..i've lost count of it..haha..whole night singing birthday song and i'm bored of it already...lol...anyway, wish all of them happy birthday and enjoy the day!!..

After our meal, we chatted our night away and what happened after that was hard to describe with words...again let the pictures do the talking...haha.. i would like to take the chance here to wish the birthday girl Happy Birthday again!!..hope you liked the surprise celebration we gave you...=)

With this, i've sum up all the three happenings in these three days...too bad i did not take any photo of these events...however, i will share with you my friend's album...(YY Birthday)

The "Muk Zui"

I guess this picture says it all...you can skip the story part if you like..

I chose today to attend the last day of orientation as ptptn briefing was held today...but unfortunate thing does happen randomly...however, it did not occur on me though...it occurred on others who were less lucky today...felt so sorry for them...

So, what unfortunate thing i'm mentioning here that sounds so desperate?...it was actually the clamping of car tires at the TPM compound because of certain reasons...many cars were clamped due to faulty parking tickets...the management team of TPM carries out "spot check" randomly and today was the day...too bad...many were caught displaying outdated tickets or altering tickets (which my friend and i used to do it)...

We were also caught twice last year because of this reason...damn it!!...and sad to say that both occasions were caught by the same guy...F***er!!!..i used to call him "muk zui" since he likes to spy on people who alter parking tickets...and today, i met him AGAIN!!!...WTF!!!..this is why i labeled today as unfortunate day...sui betul...sigh...

This time we were not caught because we used a LEGAL one!!...nah!!!...take that F***er!!!...when we were walking back to the car, we bumped into him and he asked us to check whether our tire had been clamped...WTF!!!..too bad for him as we were not clamped this time...=p...really hate seeing them especially that fella!!.."Muk Zui"!!..
